FREE WORKSHOP: Hydro-Resilient Futures: Co-creating regenerative Landscapes

17-19 April 2026 – at Agrihouse, Bracciano, Rome, Italy

A weekend of co-design and agroecological forecasting

Following the Venice Architecture Biennale, the collaboration and dialogue continue with the speakers of the conference “Thinking Hands: Constructing Our Collective Response to the Climate Crisis.”

For the second annual gathering, we will meet at Agrihouse, a farm of the Biodistrict and an Ecosystem Restoration Camp in Bracciano, near Rome. Together with the collective Urto Botanico, we will explore water retention solutions, rainwater management, wetland restoration, and pasture regeneration through the creation of natural barriers using native plant species.

Laboratory of co-creation for farmers, designers, agronomists, architects, artists, activists and any water and agro-ecology enthusiasts. Bring your knowledge, lust for change and raincoat! 

We will spend 2 days together, finding solutions to climate change, re-inventing landscapes and farming concepts, enjoying the traditional Roman countryside at Agrihouse Organic Farm from Friday evening to Sunday.

PROGRAM 

Friday 17th April 

h 16.00 – Check-In
h 18.00 – Get to know each other, also through a short laboratory activity on the topic (which will be revealed on site)
19.30 aperitivo & dinner time with local traditional products of the Organic District:  Biodistretto dei Laghi di Bracciano e Martignano 

Saturday 18th Aprile

h. 8.30 Breakfast time
h. 9.30 exploring the farm hill: study the slopes and recognize the local essences for the creation on natural pastural fences and water barriers, explore the natural water spring of the hill (In case of rain, even better, we’ll get to see flowing rain on its paths, so bring your rain jacket and rubber boots, if you don’t have any, we’ll provide you. Just let us know)
